World Environment Day marked in Lhasa

Volunteers and environmentalists dump wastes and rubbish collected from Mount Qomolangma (Everest) at a rubbish disposal site near Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region June 6, or the World Environment Day. The rubbish, contained in more than 400 bags, were collected from the mountain from a height ranging from 5,120 meters to 8,000 meters.
